Villa Relax – Lefkada, Greece
Our Villa Relax is situated in a quiet location on the outskirts of Tsoukalades, surrounded by olive groves and offering beautiful sea views. At the same time, its location is ideal for exploring Lefkada: the beaches of the west coast, Lefkada Town, and the east coast as far as Nidri are all easily accessible.
This well-maintained villa with a private pool, two bedrooms, and two bathrooms offers ample space and privacy for up to four guests. The house and grounds are exclusively yours during your stay.

Villa Relax has around 70 m² of living space spread over two floors. The ground floor has a living area with a kitchen, a bedroom with a box-spring bed and a bathroom. Upstairs is the second bedroom, also with a box-spring bed, and its own bathroom. From here, you can also step out onto the roof terrace and enjoy lovely views across the surrounding area towards the sea.
Guests have their own outdoor area around the house. At its heart is the private 8 × 4 metre pool, surrounded by a terrace and sun loungers. There’s also a heated outdoor shower and an area for barbecues and relaxed al fresco dining. A shaded parking space is right at the house.
Air conditioning and Wi-Fi are of course included. We’ve deliberately set up the villa for a maximum of 4 people—more room and peace and quiet rather than as many beds as possible.
Our own holiday home is right next to the villa. It is used exclusively by us and our children and is not rented to other holidaymakers. The garden areas are separate and arranged so that everyone can enjoy their own private space.
Villa Relax is especially well suited to couples, two couples travelling together, or families with older children looking for a well-maintained holiday home with a private pool, while also wanting to explore Lefkada independently.

Lefkada – more than just stunning beaches
Lefkada is best known for its spectacular beaches and the bright blue Ionian Sea. But for us, that’s only part of what makes the island so special...

Small villages, olive groves, lively coastal towns, mountain scenery and magnificent views at every turn make Lefkada wonderfully varied.
Villa Relax is on the peaceful edge of Tsoukalades. The small village has retained its traditional character and is pleasantly lively in summer without being a major tourist resort. At the same time, the well-known beaches on the west coast, such as Pefkoulia, Agios Nikitas and Kathisma, are just a short drive away. If you prefer somewhere quieter, there are also smaller beaches and coves. We particularly enjoy heading down to Tsoukalades Beach in the late afternoon and staying until the last rays of sunshine.
Lefkada Town is also just a short drive away. We especially enjoy the lively island capital in the evening, with its little lanes, shops, tavernas, cafés and marina. There are also plenty of small coastal towns on the east side of the island where we enjoy dining out. Further south, you’ll find Nidri, with its waterfront promenade, restaurants and excursion options.
Anyone wanting to see more of Lefkada should definitely set aside a full day for an island tour. A beautiful route leads along the coast far to the south, to the lighthouse, and then back through the mountainous interior. It's in the mountains that you experience a completely different side of Lefkada – small villages, little traffic, and breathtaking views of the island and the sea.
Every day of your holiday can be different: discover a new beach in the morning, stroll around Lefkada Town, drive through the mountains or have dinner somewhere on the east coast—and spend a day relaxing by your own pool in between.
For a holiday on Lefkada, we definitely recommend renting a car or bringing your own. It’s the best way to explore the island at your own pace, without being tied to a schedule.

Good to know! (FAQ)
How many people can the holiday home accommodate?
We rent the house to a maximum of 4 guests. With around 70 m² of living space, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, it offers plenty of room, peace and privacy—ideal for two adults, two couples or a family with older children.
What is the minimum stay?
Minimum stay: 7 nights
What time are check-in and check-out?
Check-in is from 3:00 pm and check-out is by 10:00 am. Other times may be possible by arrangement.
Will I need a car during my stay?
Yes. We strongly recommend having your own car or renting one. It makes it easy to get to the beaches, restaurants, shops and local attractions.
How are the pool and garden maintained?
The pool is maintained by a professional company. During the summer months, the water quality is usually checked twice a week. Our garden is also regularly maintained by a gardener.
At check-in, Kostas will let you know which days the work will be carried out.
How far away is the nearest airport?
Aktio Preveza Airport is only 30 km away, about a 40-minute drive.
Important! Lefkada is connected to the mainland by a floating swing bridge. The bridge opens several times a day to let boats pass through. Each opening usually lasts around 10 to 15 minutes, during which boats can pass through the canal while road traffic on the island comes to a complete stop.
Is there a local contact available?
Yes. Kostas will meet you at the house, show you around and explain everything you need to know for your stay. He’ll also be your local contact throughout your holiday and take care of anything related to the house. He’ll come by again at check-out. Kostas speaks English as well as Greek. Of course, I’ll also be personally available to you throughout your stay.
Are pets allowed?
No, pets are not allowed. Unfortunately, we’ve had many bad experiences in the past, so we decided not to allow them.
Is smoking allowed in the house?
No. Smoking is not permitted in the house.
Smoking is permitted outside the house. It goes without saying that we ask you not to leave cigarette butts in the garden.
How do I pay when booking directly?
A 25% deposit of the rental price is due when you book. The balance is payable 14 days before arrival. By prior arrangement, you can also pay in cash at the property.
What is your cancellation policy?
You can cancel free of charge up to 30 days before arrival. For cancellations made 29 to 14 days before arrival, we charge 50% of the rental price; for cancellations made 13 days or less before arrival, we charge 90%. The final cleaning fee is not charged if you cancel.
If the cancelled dates can be fully re-let, the cancellation fee will be waived. If they are re-let for only part of the time, the fee will be reduced accordingly.
If something exceptional means your trip can’t go ahead as planned, please get in touch. If availability allows, we’ll do our best to find a solution that works for you—for example, by moving your stay to another date.
Is it cheaper to book directly than through a booking site?
When you book directly, you won’t pay any additional booking platform commissions or service fees. You book directly with us, the owners, and enjoy personal contact from your first enquiry right through to your stay.
Can I book through a booking platform?
to Booking.com...Yes. You’re also welcome to book through a booking platform if you prefer. We also list the house directly on Booking.com. Please note that the platform’s fees may apply in addition.
Where can I find restaurants and shopping facilities?
We’ve put together our personal recommendations in Google Maps lists. You’ll find restaurants, shops, beaches, sights and ideas for day trips there. We update the lists regularly.
Is the house also suitable for a winter holiday?
Yes. From the end of October, we’re happy to rent out Villa Relax for longer stays. The house can be heated electrically, and the pool and garden are regularly maintained, even in winter.
As direct tourist flights to Preveza/Aktion pause during the winter season and our property manager Kostas lives in Athens during that time, we don’t offer the villa for short stays then. It is well suited to longer stays, and cleaning can still be arranged.
Tsoukalades is very quiet in winter. The grocery store and pharmacy are open, but many tavernas and seasonal businesses in the village close for the season. By contrast, many restaurants, cafés and shops in Lefkada Town stay open during the winter, so you can still enjoy good food and shopping there.
A longer winter stay can be especially enjoyable for guests looking for peace and quiet who’d like to experience Lefkada outside the main season.
